Some days I wish I were alone in the world. People just generally suck! I know that is a particularly negative statement (from moi????? NO WAY!), but its TRUE. I have some great friends, and know some truly wonderful people. I think those great people allow me get my hopes up about people in general, and then I forget that people suck, and I get blindsided when they do something to remind me!
A related quote given to me by a friend: "Do not make someone a priority if they will only make you an option". I need to write this on a post-it note and staple it to my forehead!!!
